By accessing or using Blockabye ("the Service"), operated by Jazlab LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of Service

Blockabye is a web-based service that allows users to create personalized illustrated children's storybooks. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate:

  • Block-style character images based on uploaded photos
  • Original story narratives based on user-provided prompts
  • Illustrated storybook pages

3. Subscription & Pricing

Blockabye offers both free and paid subscription tiers:

  • Free tier includes 1 storybook and 1 character
  • Paid subscriptions provide monthly book allocations and additional features
  • Story credits can be purchased individually without a subscription
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • If under 18, have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Blockabye is designed for all ages. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Upload photos of anyone without their consent (or parental consent for minors)
  • Create content that is violent, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate
  • Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to bypass content moderation or safety systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse our AI systems
  • Upload malware or attempt to compromise our systems

We use AI-powered content moderation to ensure all generated content is appropriate for children. Content that violates our guidelines will be blocked.

6. User-Generated Content

When you upload photos or provide story prompts:

  • You retain ownership of your original content
  • You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the Service
  • Uploaded photos are deleted immediately after AI processing
  • You represent that you have the right to use any content you provide

7. AI-Generated Content

The characters, stories, and illustrations generated by our Service:

  • Are created for your personal, non-commercial use
  • May be downloaded and shared with family and friends
  • Should not be sold or used for commercial purposes without permission

Disclaimer: AI-generated content may occasionally contain unexpected results. While we strive for quality and appropriateness, we cannot guarantee that all generated content will meet your expectations.

8. Intellectual Property & Trademark Notice

Important: Blockabye is an independent company and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group or any of its affiliates.

"LEGO" and "DUPLO" are registered trademarks of the LEGO Group. Our "block-style" aesthetic is our own original interpretation and does not represent or imply any association with LEGO products.

The Blockabye name, logo, and Service design are our intellectual property.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or quality of AI-generated content

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAZLAB LLC AND BLOCKABYE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
